Abstract

A mathematical modeling of enzyme membrane reactor in two substrate kineticsis discussed.  The model usually contains information on the particular reactions. It also includes the mass balance equations in the reactor. This model is based on the system of reaction rate equations containing a nonlinear term related to the Michaelis-Menten kinetics of the enzymatic reaction. Analytical expression of concentrations of substrates and products are obtained by solving the non linear equations using new homotopy perturbation method. Our analytical results are compared with simulation and experimental results. Satisfactory agreement is noted.
