A HYBRID CUCKOO SEARCH TO ENHANCE LOW RESOLUTION IMAGES
Abstract
In this paper, a hybrid approach for enhancing low resolution and low intensity images by using discrete wavelet transform for isolating high frequency components and an adaptive weighted cuckoo search for obtaining optimal solutions, is proposed. An automatic updated weight depending on maximum generation and pixel range of the image is attached to give the solution in less time. The visual results and post-process analysis of image quality parameters and comparison with the histogram equalized images demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.Downloads
